Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal features first-hand accounts

Netflix is gearing up to launch a second season of docuseries Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal.

The three-part second season will premiere on Netflix globally on September 20, following the first season’s debut in February this year.

Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal tells the true story of Alex Murdaugh, who was found guilty in March this year of murdering his wife and son in 2021.

Season one debuted as the trial was unfolding, before the verdict was announced. Season two will feature first-hand accounts from the days leading up to and following the murders, as well as witnesses and a juror at the trial. Michael Gasparro and Julia Willoughby Nason exec produce.
