Netflix preps original series about Julio Iglesias

NEWS BRIEF: US-based global streamer Netflix is collaborating with Spanish singer Julio Iglesias to bring his life story to the screen.

Netflix said it was too early to announce further details on whether the series, which is currently in development, would be scripted or documentary, or even which production company is working on the project. “After so many speculations, books and documentaries in which I have not been involved, for the first time I have decided to tell the truth about my life to a universal company like Netflix,” said Iglesias.
