Netflix orders spin-off from young-adult hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Netflix has picked up a young adult dramady inspired by the popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise and book series by Jenny Han.

XO, Kitty (10×30′) has been created by Han and Siobhan Vivian and will see the character of Kitty Song Covey, played by Anna Cathcart (Odd Squad), return as a teen matchmaker who thinks she knows everything there is to know about love.

When she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she realises that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.

The show comes from creator/executive producer Han and ViacomCBS-owned Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment.

The first instalment in the To All the Boys film series was released on Netflix in 2018 and was followed by two sequels: To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You in 2020 and To All the Boys: Always & Forever, earlier this year.
