Nelvana, Time Studios to visit Leela’s Island

NEWS BRIEF: Corus Entertainment-owned prodco Nelvana in Canada has teamed up with Time Studios Kids & Family to develop a preschool series called Leela’s Island.

Leela’s Island is an animated comedy-adventure series about a five-year-old girl who discovers she has inherited a gift that allows her to transform into any animal she wishes and see the world through its eyes. The series is written and created by Fracaswell Hyman and Maria Perez-Brown, and developed in partnership with Janice Burgess.
