Nearly 80 international buyers pick up Prince Harry interview from ITV Studios

Harry: The Interview, the latest interview with Prince Harry which aired this weekend on UK commercial broadcaster ITV, has been sold to 77 territories around the world by ITV Studios.

The production and distribution arm of UK commercial broadcaster ITV is handling international sales of the 90-minute special, which saw Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, interviewed by ITV News at Ten presenter Tom Bradby.

ITV Studios brokered deals with TF1 in France, RTL (Germany and the Netherlands), Discovery (Italy and Poland), TV2 (Denmark), DPG (Belgium), TV4 (Sweden), MTV3 (Finland), VGTV (Norway) and CMore for Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

Additional pre-sales were secured with Network Seven in Australia, TVNZ (New Zealand), Paramount+ (Canada), Globo (Brazil), Now TV (Hong Kong), VMI (Ireland) and DBS (Israel).

A pan-African agreement with South African channel M-Net sees the show available in 54 territories, while a pan-regional deal with Czech broadcaster CME Nova covers Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria.

The Interview was filmed by ITN Productions in California, where the prince now lives with his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. ITN Productions also produced Harry & Meghan: An African Journey in 2019.

Harry: The Interview was screened on ITV on Sunday night and was watched by four million viewers in the UK. It saw Prince Harry discuss life as a Royal prior to the release of his autobiography Spare, published this week.
