NBC takes Night Court reboot to series

Night Court stars The Big Bang Theory’s Melissa Rauch

NEWS BRIEF: US broadcast network NBC has ordered its reboot of 1980s comedy Night Court to series, produced by Warner Bros Television, Universal Television and After January Productions.

The half-hour comedy pilot was revealed in May and stars Melissa Rauch as optimistic judge Abby Stone, daughter of the late Harry Stone from the original series, which first aired on NBC in 1984. She follows in her father’s footsteps presiding over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court.
