The Peacock has announced a “staggered and aggressive season premiere strategy” for some of its new shows before their official launches in September and October.

Matthew Perry comedy Go On will air Wednesday August 8 following that evening’s coverage of the games, while another comedy, Animal Practice, will be previewed following the closing ceremony on Sunday August 12.

Both shows will also have an encore screening following the first episode in a new season of The Voice on Monday September 10.

Go On will then debut in its allotted fall time period on Tuesday September 11 at 21.00, followed by another newcomer, The New Normal, at 21.30.

Another freshman comedy, Guys With Kids, will be previewed on Wednesday September 12 after the penultimate episode of America’s Got Talent, while The New Normal will be repeated on Thursday September 13 following Got Talent’s season finale.

Other premiere dates include JJ Abrams drama Revolution on Monday September 17 and Chicago Fire on Wednesday October 10, while Animal Practice and Guys With Kids will premiere in their regular slots of Wednesday at 20.00 and 20.30 respectively from September 26.
