Nat Poulter departs as VP of digital commercial at BBC Studios

BBC Studios (BBCS) executive Nat Poulter is exiting his role as VP of digital commercial after almost three years at the production and distribution giant.

Nat Poulter

London-based Poulter joined the company in the newly created role in mid-2023 to grow the presence of BBCS brands such as BBC Earth, Top Gear and Bluey online as well as launch new IP.

Prior to joining BBCS, he was co-CEO at media, marketing and commerce business Jungle Creations.

Announcing his departure on LinkedIn, Poulter said that he would take some time to ponder his next career move.

He wrote: “What a ride [at BBC Studios]. I’ve learnt so much and, with the support of a group of wonderful people around me, I’m leaving having achieved a bunch and with some great memories.

“Now it’s time to make space for what’s next. My brain is buzzing. It might take a moment for things to settle into some sort of structured thought.

“What I know is I’m excited and a bit scared. Well, very scared but I think that’s normal. I know the world is in flux but surely when’s a better time to build something new than when the old world is in flames?”
