Animals Up Close returns for a second season

NEWS BRIEF: Disney-owned factual cablenet National Geographic has renewed two series, Animals Up Close with Bertie Gregory for season two and Trafficked Underworlds with Mariana van Zeller for season five.

Animals Up Close is an eight-part series presented by wildlife filmmaker Gregory and produced by UK-based Wildstar Films. Meanwhile, US indie Muck Media has produced Trafficked: Underworlds with journalist van Zeller. The 10-part fifth season sees van Zeller explore the inner workings of the world’s most dangerous black markets.
