According to Media Musketeers, which has a presence in the UK, the Netherlands and France, investment from Entourage Ventures will allow it to release up to eight series per year.

The deal is worth €1bn (US$1.12bn) over the next six years and will cover all Media Musketeers properties during that period.

Ex-Apple execs Sebastien Janin and Andy Docherty, together with Warner Bros alum Chris Law, launched Media Musketeers to develop and finance TV series in April.

The deal with Entourage includes Musketeers’ recently announced God Fearing Man, which is being adapted from the unused screenplay by Stanley Kubrick (The Shining). The show is being produced with UK indie ForLan Films.

“Entourage Ventures’ investment capability, expertise and connections will enable us to build properties around innovative production, distribution and financing, bringing our ambitious plans to fruition,” said Media Musketeers’ new managing partner of finance, Patrick Swiderski.

“We look forward to working with them over the coming years to bring a raft of quality dramas to the screen.”
