More syndication deals for Millionaire

In what is becoming a syndication snowball, Buena Vista Television has sold Who Wants to Be a Millionaire to more stateside local stations, namely those owned by McGraw-Hill, Scripps-Howard and Post-Newsweek.

Buena Vista has shifted the show into another 13 stations, including four McGraw-Hill stations (Denver, San Diego, Indianapolis and Bakersfield), six Scipps-Howard stations (Tampa, Phoenix, Baltimore, Kansas City, West Palm Beach and Tulsa) and three Post-Newsweek stations (Houston, Orlando and Jacksonville).

These deals, on top of Buena Vista's recent deals with 10 CBS-owned stations, mean that over 45% of the country has taken the show.

Based on Celador's pioneering format, the quizshow debuts in syndication in autumn 2002.
