Moonbug’s MD for Americas Andy Yeatman steps down, Courtney Holt promoted

Moonbug Entertainment’s managing director for the Americas, Andy Yeatman, is leaving the after five years, the company revealed on Friday.

Yeatman, a prominent children’s entertainment executive who was formerly the director of kids and family content at Netflix, is leaving the CoComelon and Blippi maker for a “new opportunity.” Details of his next gig have not yet been revealed.

Courtney Holt, who joined the Candle Media-backed kids studio earlier this year as its first global head of music and strategic audio initiatives, will assume Yeatman’s role in addition to keeping his existing position.

Holt will be tasked with leading Moonbug’s originals strategy and its creative and commercial teams in North America. He will report to founder and CEO René Rechtman.

“Courtney’s track record in building and scaling media and music programmes will be vital to bringing Moonbug’s brands to the next stage. His creativity, passion and relationships will help us deepen and expand our connection with fans across North America, our biggest market,” said Rechtman.

The Moonbug boss added that Yeatman’s leadership was “crucial to our growth in the Americas. We’re grateful for his contributions and wish him the best in his next endeavour.”
