Mondo TV Studios, Itsy Bitsy Entertainment take MeteoHeroes cartoon into US

MeteoHeroes will make its broadcast debut in the US on PBS

Mondo TV Studios’ environment-focused animated series MeteoHeroes has been picked up for distribution in North America by Kenn Viselman’s Itsy Bitsy Entertainment.

The series, about a group of six pint-sized superheroes, will make its broadcast premiere on public broadcasting network PBS in the US on April 22 with an Earth Day special. A companion series, Real Superheroes Don’t Wear Capes, will premiere in late summer.

North American distribution and marketing will be handled by US-based Itsy Bitsy in partnership with Mondo TV and Meteo Operations Italia.

To date, European production company and distributor Mondo has sold the series into 144 countries, including France (Canal+), Poland (TVP), Italy (Cartoonito) and Spain (RTVE).
