Moley prodco Two Daughters Entertainment hires Finn Arnesen as COO

UK children’s prodco Two Daughters Entertainment has hired former Hasbro and Cartoon Network exec Finn Arnesen as chief operating officer.

Two Daughters Entertainment was formed last year by James Reatchlous, the creator of UK animated kids’ series Moley.

Reporting to MD Reatchlous, Arnesen will execute the company’s creative and commercial strategy to accelerate growth across its portfolio of IP and increase revenue from all lines of business.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Arnesen spent 10 of those at US toy giant Hasbro as senior VP of global distribution and development for Hasbro Studios. In that role, he oversaw the global expansion of brands including My Little Pony and Transformers.

He also spent 16 years at Cartoon Network, developing and launching original IP including The Amazing World of Gumball, mixed-media gameshow Skatoony, coproductions The Cramp Twins and Robotboy, and launching channels in Europe and internationally.

Moley is currently available in more than 140 countries in 30 languages on Warner Bros Discovery’s Boomerang and on free-to-air channel Pop in the UK, with expansion into the US and licensed product partnerships to be announced.

Two Daughters Entertainment is also developing three new properties that will begin to roll out over the coming year.
