Reynolds will take up the newly created role of executive producer, documentaries at the UK prodco later this month after spending two years as head of documentaries at Minnow Films.

Reporting to Twofour’s chief creative officer David Brindley, Reynolds will steer the firm’s documentary output with a focus at first on winning new business.

Previously, Reynolds oversaw four series of SAS: Who Dares Wins at Minnow Films, and developed and executive produced singles and series including C4’s The Yorkshire Job Centre, BBC2’s Manctopia, Sky Docs’ Stirling and BBC3’s forthcoming single Bad Influencer.

Prior to that, she spent eight years at Twofour, where she worked across a variety of productions as a director and later as an exec. Reynolds’ credits include Royal Marines Commando School, Royal Navy School, Confessions of a Junior Doctor, Educating Essex and Educating Yorkshire.

Reynolds said: “I’m really proud of what I achieved in my time at Minnow but it feels incredibly exciting to return to Twofour. Twofour has a great documentary pedigree which I look forward to building on.

“I hope that we can hit the sweet spot that Twofour has managed so often in the past: making documentary of the highest quality that is also warm, entertaining and popular. It’s a joy to be working with the team there again – it feels like going home – an unmissable opportunity.”
