NEWS BRIEF: MGM-owned premium US cablenet Epix has renewed sci-fi horror series From, produced by Lost alumni Jeff Pinkner and Jack Bender, for a second season.

Coproduced by Epix Studios and MGM International Television Productions, the second season sees hidden truths about the nightmarish town that traps all those who enter begin to emerge, as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. The drama was created by John Griffin (Crater).
