Mediawan, RTVE, A+E, TVNZ and others shop for factual at Bomanbridge

Mediawan, RTL, APT and RTVE have acquired Paul Goes to Hollywood

France’s Mediawan, RTVE in Spain, A+E in Italy and New Zealand’s TVNZ are among the latest buyers to pick up factual shows from Singapore’s Bomanbridge Media.

Mediawan and RTVE have acquired Paul Goes to Hollywood (4×60’), as have RTL in the Netherlands and APT in the US. The series is coproduced with UK multichannel broadcaster UKTV.

A+E has bought true crime series Secrets of the Interrogation Room (10×60’), while TVNZ has acquired climate change doc Earth Emergency (1×60’) from West One International and TV3 in Catalonia has picked up Valley of the Bears (1×60’), which looks into the conflict between residents and the local grizzly bear population in British Columbia.

Arte in France and Taiwan’s PTS have acquired Hopper: An American Love Story (1×60’) and Pissarro: Father of Impressionism (1×60’), both of which are part of UK prodco Seventh Art’s arts docuseries Exhibition on Screen.

Also part of Exhibition on Screen, Denmark’s DR has picked up Klimt & the Kiss (1×60’), Sunflowers (1×60’) and Mary Cassatt: Painting the Modern Woman (1×60’), the latter which has also been bought by Hong Kong’s TVB.

Meanwhile, Czech TV has acquired Seventh Art’s Bafta winner My Childhood My Country: 20 Years in Afghanistan (1×60’).
