Mediawan Rights to shop upcoming TF1 doc Charles III: The New King around the world

Paris-based Mediawan Rights has acquired the worldwide rights to broadcaster TF1’s upcoming documentary Charles III: The New King.

Produced by Mediawan’s Thematics Prod, Charles III: The New King looks back at some of the key moments defining the life of the UK’s new monarch, from his solitary childhood and his passion for sports to his failed marriage with Princess Diana and the long rehabilitation of his reputation with the British people.

Mediawan Rights is launching the doc at Mipcom next week and has already presold it to buyers in Canada, Spain, Italy and Israel.

Also on Mediawan Rights’ Mip slate are docs Taiwan: Forbidden Nation (BrotherFilms), Unveiling Arafat (CC&C/Mediawan), Metoo in the Art World: #Notsurprised (Crossborders Films) and Godard Cinema (10.7 Productions).
