Mediawan adds CJ ENM’s supernatural K-horror series Priest and The Guest to Insomnia channel

France’s Mediawan has acquired two of South Korean entertainment company CJ ENM’s K-horror series for its horror-themed subscription streaming channel Insomnia.

Priest (16×60’) is directed by Lee Chan-Ho and Kim Jong-Hyun and follows an exorcist and an elite surgeon who team up to fight against evil entities. It will be available on Insomnia from July 1.

The second series, The Guest (16×60’), follows a shaman, an exorcist priest and a detective in their fight against an evil spirit. It is directed by Kim Hong-Sun and will be available on Insomnia from September 1.

Launched in 2021, Insomnia is now available through Canal+, Free, SFR, Molotov and Amazon Prime Video. Its catalogue consists mainly of blockbusters and works previously unreleased in France.
