McKenna lights up Final Pixel

Former BBC Studios and Endemol Shine executive Michael McKenna has launched an international creative studio called Final Pixel, focusing on virtual production.

Final Pixel will use LED walls and video game engines as an alternative to filming with green-screen technology. It aims to strike partnerships with TV, film and advertising companies.

Partnering with McKenna are executive producer Monica Hinden and creative director Christopher McKenna, both known for their entertainment marketing agency Wee Beastie.

CEO Michael McKenna said: “Say goodbye to green screen and create your own reality with Final Pixel. Our work is all about reality, veracity and credibility.”

Hinden added: “Final Pixel’s approach is first and foremost from the producer’s viewpoint. We talk their language and realise the true potential of this convergence of production and technology.”
