The veteran executive, who has been at MEM since it launched in 2014, revealed the move in a LinkedIn post.

“A few months ago, an unexpected career opportunity came my way, and after much heartfelt thought, I decided the time was right to pursue a new adventure,” said Jennings, who was promoted to president of MEM in 2021.

While she did not specify what the new venture will be, Jennings described it as “a new partnership on the scripted side of the content industry” and said more details would be revealed in the coming weeks.

MEM, led by CEO Scott McGillivray, is among the busiest unscripted production companies in Canada, producing series including MasterChef Canada (Bell Media), Canada’s Got Talent for (Rogers Sports & Media), Luxe Listings Toronto (Prime Video) and Scott’s Vacation House Rules (Home Network) and Renovation Resort (Home Network).

Throughout her career, Jennings has been an executive producer, showrunner and director on more than 700 hours of unscripted programming.

As president of MEM, she oversaw partnerships with streamers and broadcasters, as well as managing day-to-day operations, creative and corporate development and financial and legal strategy.

Before joining MEM, she was the owner and president of unscripted production company Fusion Television.
