MBC Group, WBD extend long-term partnership

Cartoon Network animated series Teen Titans Go!

NEWS IN BRIEF: MBC Group in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has extended its long-term partnership with Warner Bros Discovery, giving it continued access to Hollywood blockbusters as well as Cartoon Network series.

The newly extended partnership runs up to 2026 and will also see the Cartoon Network Arabia channel made available on MBC Group’s Arabic streaming platform Shahid until September 2023. English-language content will also be made available, with an additional 250 episodes of Cartoon Network content expected to be added to a Cartoon Network-branded Shahid Kids SVoD hub. Titles include We Bare Bears, Teen Titans Go! And The Amazing World Of Gumball.
