Main Event jumps from All3Media to Religion of Sports via new production deal

In dating reality series Dated & Related, siblings acts as wingpeople

Main Event Media, the LA-based prodco formerly housed under All3Media, is moving to join Religion of Sports, the media company founded by creator Gotham Chopra, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.

With the move, Main Event Media has inked an exclusive multi-year deal with Religion of Sports and will now serve as the company’s “pop culture arm.”

Led by president Jimmy Fox, Main Event Media has produced projects including: true crime documentary Girl in the Picture and dating series Dated & Related, both for Netflix; comedy Punky Brewster for Peacock; and docuseries Sweet Life: Los Angeles for HBO Max.

Fox has been with All3Media for the past nine years and officially launched the Main Event banner six years ago. He will remain attached to several projects that were set up with All3Media.

Moving with Fox to Religion of Sports are longtime executives and in-house producers Emily Bon and Stephanie Valentin, who both serve as development VPs.

“I am beyond grateful to the leadership of All3Media for the past nine years and everything we’ve accomplished together,” said Fox.

“After sitting with Gotham and hearing his vision for the growth of Religion of Sports as a home for creators across all genres of storytelling, I was extremely inspired and saw clearly how Main Event could complement an already flourishing operation.”
