MagellanTV launches True Crime Now FAST channel in Canada

Documentary streaming company MagellanTV has launched a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel dedicated to true crime on The Roku Channel in Canada.

True Crime Now features more than 1,000 true crime series and documentary films, with new content joining the channel each week.

The channel, overseen by Magellan’s senior VP of operations Chelsea Lauzun, includes projects such as Crime Files with David Wilson, A Shallow Grave: A True Crime Mystery, Undercover Asia, Double Murder: The Inside Story, The Suspects, Cybercrimes with Ben Hammersley, Psychic Investigators and The Family Who Vanished.

“As our library of true crime series, specials and features continues to grow, it’s become clear that the genre warrants a channel of its own. The demand for true crime has never been higher and we’re thrilled to bring an unending supply, for free, to Canadian homes with True Crime Now,” said MagellanTV managing director Greg Diefenbach.

MagellanTV is also available as an ad-free subscription service internationally. Outside of true crime content, MagellanTV’s library spans history, science, biography, nature and the arts.
