Mae Martin doc heads to Swedish Films as part of raft of TVF International factual sales

Mae Martin in Fluid: Life Beyond the Binary

Educational platform Swedish Films has acquired a documentary about gender and sexual fluidity hosted by actor and comedian Mae Martin in a deal with London-based factual distributor TVF International.

Fluid: Life Beyond the Binary (1×60′), a Kensington Communications production commissioned by CBC in Canada, sees Martin, who is non-binary, delve into the science of gender and sexual fluidity.

The educational platform has also picked up Atlas of a Changing Earth (1×50′), which uses cutting-edge mapping technology to illustrate the impact of climate change.

Alexander Street, Dreamscape, Sage Publications and ClickView are also among the academic and educational companies to have acquired content from TVF International in deals negotiated by sales executive Alex Lindsay.

ProQuest-owned Alexander Street has taken over 115 hours of programming from TVF International, including AI & You (1×52′), The Last Seed (1×52′), Life is Precious (7×27′) and This Is Me (5×30′).
