M6 rejigs after Bayle exit

French broadcast group M6 has rejigged one of its programming departments following the departure of exec Matthieu Bayle for Endemol France.

Pierre-Guillaume Ledan

Pierre-Guillaume Ledan will oversee the ‘programmes de flux’ department, defined as programmes that are only suitable for a single broadcast, such as the news or sporting events, by French media body the CSA (Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel).

Ledan now holds the position of programme director general for programmes de flux, having previously worked as director general of free-to-air channels for programmes de flux at M6 for two years.

Joining his team is Sybille de Brianson, who has been upped from director of programme creator at M6 to director of external ‘productions de flux’. In this role, she will be in charge of variety shows and lifestyle programmes.

William Lebugle, meanwhile, will remain as director of external productions de flux, a role he has held since 2011.

Bayle left M6 to become director of programmes at Endemol France last week.
