Love Nature, RTÉ, Arte go Wild in Ireland

International wildlife channel Love Nature, pubcasters RTÉ in Ireland and Arte in France are teaming up for a natural history series called Ireland’s Wild Islands (3×50′ & 2×50′).

Eoin Warner

Produced by award-winning Irish production company Crossing the Line, the series explores the hardy wildlife that survives on Ireland’s battered Atlantic islands. In the series, Eoin Warner travels by sailboat down the spectacular Irish coast.

The Warner-hosted version is available as a three-part series, with an extended cut including two additional, non-hosted episodes. Blue Ant International, part of Love Nature owner Blue Ant Media, will oversee pre-sales and international licensing of the series.

“Crossing the Line is a widely sought-after natural history production company. Ireland’s Wild Islands is our first green light with the company and is sure to win the hearts and minds of Love Nature’s engaged audience globally,” said Carlyn Staudt, exec VP at Love Nature Programming and Development.

The series is directed by Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker John Murray (The Farthest, On a River in Ireland, Broken Tail) and produced by Cepa Giblin (Broken Tail, Wild Ireland, Wild Journeys). James Manfull will executive produce the series on behalf of Love Nature.
