Love Joy attracts Peacock for stand-up content

NEWS BRIEF: NBC’s SVoD platform Peacock has ordered new comedy special Love Joy from Joyelle Nicole Johnson, comedian and star of HBO’s Crashing.

Dropping on the platform on November 5, the show was filmed on Johnson’s 40th birthday and covers topics like relationships and therapy.

Love Joy is produced by Jimmy Fallon’s prodco Electric Hot Dog and Boat Rocker’s Matador Content.
