Loonland travels WorldWorld

Munich and London-based distributor TV-Loonland has picked up Western and Eastern European, African, South African and Israeli sales rights to PBS educational preschool series WordWorld.

The deal covers a 74×11′ series, eight music clips and 52 ‘build-a-world’ songs. TV-Loonland holds TV, home entertainment and new media rights in the above regions, and will kick off sales at Mipcom in October.

Launched on PBS Kids in the US in September 2007, WordWorld has sold to 22 countries thus far and has been adapted into French and Cantonese, with other distributors holding regional rights including Asian firm Mango.
