Look Mom! hires Mia Di Pasquale as development chief amid NA expansion

Blue Ant Media-owned animation company Look Mom! Productions has named Mia Di Pasquale as its VP of development as part of an ongoing expansion in North America.

Based in LA, Di Pasquale will be responsible for identifying emerging talent and creators and developing adult-focused animation out of the US.

She will work with managing director Josh Bowen, to whom she reports, and Look Mom!’s Toronto-based team to produce new projects for global buyers. Look Mom!, which is part of Toronto-headquartered Blue Ant, has operations in both Toronto and LA.

Di Pasquale arrives at Look Mom! from Superplastic, where she was head of entertainment and media development and led creative development for the studio’s animated feature films, TV series and web comics. She was also previously VP of original series at Super Deluxe, where she developed Ghost Story Club for TruTV.

Look Mom!’s slate includes Doomlands, which is set to premiere on The Roku Channel on January 28, Adult Swim Canada’s Night Sweats and Bigfoot for VRV in the US. The company also produces Gary & His Demons which is available on Mondo Channel on VRV (US), CBC Gem (Canada), Comedy Central (UK) and ABC Comedy (Australia).
