Little Dot Studios sets up Dr Seuss educational channel on YouTube

Dr Seuss Enterprises has teamed up with All3Media-backed digital media network Little Dot Studios to launch a YouTube channel featuring educational content based on the works of the beloved American children’s author and cartoonist.

Theodor Seuss Geisel, alias Dr Seuss

The channel is populated by a slate of programming produced by Little Dot, including a read-along Dr Seuss Storytime series, a drawing series called Draw Your Dream Pet and phonics games such as Learn to Read with Dr Seuss Babies.

The channel, which aims to expand the Dr Seuss brand’s presence in the digital space, will also feature Spanish-language content.

Dr Seuss Enterprises, founded in 1993, is an entertainment and licensing company focused on promoting education, literacy and self-confidence in young people. Dr Suess, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, wrote and illustrated more than 60 books during his life. By the time of his death in 1991, his books had sold more than 600 million copies and been translated into over 20 languages.

“We expect our channel will be a go to resource for parents and teachers looking for content they can confidently share with the children in their care,” said Susan Brandt, president and CEO at Dr Seuss Enterprises.
