Little Bear travels the world

French preschool series Little Bear

Broadcasters around the world including Globo in Brazil and kids’ channel Tiny Pop in the UK have acquired French preschool series Little Bear, which has been commissioned for a second season by France Televisions.

In addition to Globo and Tiny Pop, Little Bear (39×7’) has also been picked up by Scottish Gaelic-language channel BBC Alba, French-Canadian public media company TFO, Kidstream in the US, Carousel in Russia, Czeska Televize in the Czech Republic, OCS in France, Good TV in Taiwan, Pineapple TV in Nigeria, RTVS in Slovenia, Pakapaka in Argentina, MTVA in Hungary, LTV in Latvia and DSmart in Turkey.

Produced by Supamonks Studio for France Televisions, Little Bear is based on the picture books by French author and illustrator Benjamin Chaud. The series is directed by Matthieu Gaillard and aimed at four- to seven-year-olds.

France Televisions has commissioned a second 78×7’ season of Little Bear, with production set to commence at the end of this year for broadcast in the fourth quarter of 2023. Dandelooo distributes the series worldwide.
