Stern, who has been president of Lionsgate Television Group since 2015, continues to report to Lionsgate Television Group chair and chief creative officer Kevin Beggs.

A key member of the company’s senior management team for nearly 20 years, Stern is credited with helping to guide Lionsgate’s TV business to record-breaking revenue growth in nearly every year of her tenure.

Stern, who arrived at Lionsgate in 2003, has been in the industry for more than 30 years and was behind deals at the studio that have led to hits such as Mad Men, Weeds and Orange is the New Black.

Its current slate includes the recently renewed shows Home Economics (ABC), Welcome to Flatch (Fox) and Ghosts (CBS).

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said: “With Kevin Beggs and Sandra leading the way, our television business is positioned to create growing value and increasing profitability as its current slate continues to mature and exciting new properties are added.”

Beggs added: “Sandra is a gifted negotiator with an intuitive understanding of the needs of our streaming, broadcast and cable partners, as well as a unique ability to create win/win relationships. After nearly 20 years, our partnership continues to grow and evolve with the fast-changing television landscape.”
