US-based Lionsgate Studios has promoted Chase Brisbin to executive VP of international SVoD sales and head of global channels.

In the expanded role, California-based Brisbin will manage Lionsgate’s portfolio of around 25 free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels, including MovieSphere.

She will continue to be responsible for licensing and distributing Lionsgate and Starz series and films, as well as projects from Lionsgate’s 20,000-title distribution library.

Brisbin has been with Lionsgate for 12 years and was previously the executive VP of international television and digital distribution.

During her tenure, she has played a key role in growing Lionsgate’s business in digital home entertainment, domestic sales and international streaming sales. She also handled worldwide sales (excluding the US) of first-run series including John Wick spin-off series The Continental to Prime Video, and has more recently spearheaded several international FAST deals.

Lionsgate Studios, which sits within Lionsgate, is a standalone, publicly traded company housing Lionsgate’s TV and film production businesses and its distribution arm.

“Chase is a respected and forward-looking executive with a strong grasp of emerging trends in the global marketplace,” said Lionsgate’s president of worldwide television distribution, Jim Packer.

“As the distribution landscape continues to evolve, her perspective and expertise make her the natural choice to lead our global FAST business while continuing her oversight of our international SVoD business.”
