Lionsgate series head to Asia

Broadcasters across Asia have picked up Lionsgate film and TV series from distributor Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE).

Fox International Channels has taken Mad Men season five and a host of feature films, while Comedy Central Asia will screen sitcom Anger Management, starring Charlie Sheen.

Political drama Boss has gone to HBO Asia, which is also taking several feature films, and Sony Entertainment Television has picked up music-based drama Nashville for its BeTV and SET channels.

Hong Kong-based CTE is the exclusive sales agent for Lionsgate’s content in China and South East Asia and represents the studio’s television content and film library in Japan and Korea.
