Lionsgate extends CEO’s contract

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer has renewed his long-term contract with the US studio through to May 2018.

The new arrangement comes after Feltheimer’s 13-year stint as CEO brought Lionsgate success with franchises including Mad Men, Hunger Games and the Twilight franchises.

Under the deal Feltheimer will receive a base salary of US$1.5m as well as being eligible for a yearly performance bonus of US$1.5m. His previous contract was due to end in 2014.
