Vancouver-based production company Lighthouse Pictures has elevated VP of production Jameson Parker to CEO.

With the appointment, co-founder and former CEO Jamie Goehring will shift into a new role in which he will continue to oversee day-to-day operations alongside Parker as well as focusing on expanding the company’s production slate and moving into new markets.

The move comes after Lighthouse Pictures, which was founded in 2012 by Goehring and Shawn Williamson, was acquired by studio facility Martini Film Studios, led by Gemma Martini, earlier this year.

Parker has worked with Williamson, who is also the founder of prolific service production house Brightlight Pictures, and Goehring for almost a decade on titles including feature film Summer of ’84, Hallmark’s Three Wise Men & a Baby and thriller feature It Lives Inside.

Lighthouse specialises in genre and small- to medium-budget television and film projects. It has produced more than 150 titles since it was founded, including shows for Hallmark, A&E Networks-owned Lifetime, Marvista, Netflix, Disney, Sony and Paramount.
