Married at First Sight USA already airs on Lifetime

A&E-owned US cable network Lifetime has acquired the reality romance series Married at First Sight Australia.

The series sees couples paired up by experts to marry on their first meeting. It follows the weddings, honeymoons and domestic lives of the newlyweds in a social experiment to see whether love at first sight is possible.

Married at First Sight: Australia is produced by EndemolShine Australia and the format and finished tape are distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International.

The format originated in Denmark, produced by Red Arrow’s Snowman Productions. A&E commissioned a US version for its FYI network in 2014 before moving it to Lifetime in 2017 and has aired for 10 seasons so far.

Married at First Sight USA is produced by Kinetic Content, a Red Arrow Studios company, for Lifetime.
