Leonine moves into Syfy’s SurrealEstate

SurrealEstate follows real estate agents who investigate the supernatural

German content company Leonine Studios has acquired the worldwide distribution rights, excluding the US and Canada, to Syfy comedy series SurrealEstate.

Produced by Blue Ice Picture, the 10×60’ series is about a team of real estate agents who investigate, discover and solve supernatural problems that prevent homes being sold.

SurrealEstate stars Tim Rozon (Schitt’s Creek, Wynonna Earp), Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek, Larry Crowne), Adam Korson (Seed, Lucifer) and Maurice Dean Wint (The Kid Detective, Murdoch Mysteries).

George R Olson serves as creator, showrunner and executive producer on the series, alongside other exec producers Lance Samuels (Ginny & Georgia), Daniel Iron (Ginny & Georgia), Armand Leo (The Detail) and Danishka Esterhazy (The Banna Splits Movie).

Leonine was formed in 2019 from the merger of Tele München Group, Universum Film, i&u TV and Wiedemann & Berg Film.
