Lego Masters clicks with M6

Lego Masters has been adapted in several countries including Sweden

French broadcaster M6 has commissioned a local version of entertainment format Lego Masters from Endemol Shine France.

M6 is the eighth broadcaster to order the format from Endemol Shine Group, following deals in the US, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherlands and Mexico.

Lego Masters, which sees contestants compete to make the best models out of Lego bricks, was created by Tuesday’s Child for Channel 4 in the UK, where it debuted in 2017.

Endemol Shine Group distributes the format and finished tape globally.

James Townley, global head of creative networks at Endemol Shine, said: “Feel-good formats with plenty of optimism that attract a wide family audience are ideal for broadcasters around the world right now and it’s brilliant to see a French version commissioned by M6.”
