TV2 in Denmark and MTV3 in Finland have become the latest broadcasters to commission local versions of Banijay format Lego Masters.

Banijay-owned Danish production company Metronome has been commissioned to produce the show for TV2, while Endemol Shine Finland will bring the format to MTV3.

The UK-originated series, in which teams compete to built the most impressive Lego project, has previously been been sold into the US, Australia, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland and France.

Meanwhile, Fox has confirmed there will be a second season of the US version, hosted by actor Will Arnett (Arrested Development).

Banijay Rights has also sold finished-tape seasons of Lego Masters in other territories. In Italy, A+E Networks has acquired Lego Masters Australia seasons one to three, Lego Masters UK seasons one and two, and the debut seasons from the US, Sweden and Netherlands for free-to-air channel Blaze.

In addition, WarnerMedia has acquired Lego Masters Australia season one for its free-to-air channel Boing, while DPG Media in Belgium has bought Lego Masters Australia, US and UK. Lego Masters is a joint creation from The Lego Group and UK prodco Tuesday’s Child Television. The original version airs on Channel 4 in the UK.
