NEWS BRIEF: The second season of Paramount+’s original Australian drama Last King of the Cross will premiere in Canada on the same day as Oz.

The eight-part series from Helium Pictures has Cineflix Rights as international distributor and was financed by Paramount Australia with support from Screen Australia, Screen NSW and Fulcrum Media Finance. Paramount+ will air the second season on its feeds in Australia and Canada on August 30.
