Kutcher’s Katalyst HQ goes live

Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Media has hooked up with streaming platform Ustream for an unscripted one-off live special of its web series Katalyst HQ.

The 30-minute special, which will follow a talk-show format, will air tomorrow via the web broadcast service, marking new territory for Katalyst HQ, which normally runs as a three-minute shorts.

The show will see Kutcher taking the audience through a “typical” day at Katalyst’s offices in Los Angeles and include interviews with celebrity guests, pre-taped segments and cutaway footage.

Katalyst HQ became the first original web production to launch on Facebook in February this year and started its second season on the social network in September.
