Korea’s KBS, Japan’s NHK explore wildlife and nature with docs from Harbour Rights

KBS has purchased The Incredible African Wildlife: The Teeth of the Savannah

KBS in Korea has acquired wildlife and nature titles from Hong Kong-based distributor Harbour Rights exploring Africa, Brazil and tiny cuttlefish, while NHK in Japan has picked up a doc about butterflies.

KBS will air The Incredible African Wildlife: The Teeth of the Savannah (1×52′), Nature Sanctuaries: Brazil the Atlantic Forest (1×50′) and Sepia: The Odyssey of a Cuttlefish (1×52′).

NHK has picked up Becoming Butterfly (1×52′), which tells the story of survival of a caterpillar on a lemon tree.

In related news, Harbour Rights-owner Ampersand has linked with French production company Morgane Production to distribute the latter’s programming around the world.

Titles includes Mysterious Jerusalem (1×52′), Mysterious Venice (1×52′), Mysteries in the Holy Land (1×52′), The Nardal Sisters: The Forgotten Ones of the Négritude; Waterloo: A Battle for Europe (1×52′), Lady Di: The Woman Who Chose the Wrong Life (1×100′), The Woman Who Dreamed of Another Stage (1×100′) and Monaco: Almost Perfect (1×90′).
