KO Distribution brings newly established formats catalogue to Mipcom

Documentary series Ultimate Rescue

KO Distribution, the distribution arm of Montreal-based producer KOTV, is heading to Mipcom with a newly established formats catalogue and several new scripted and unscripted projects.

Alongside long-time collaborator AromaTV, the company is shopping Fragments, a series written by Serge Boucher and produced by Amalga, and a pair of docuseries, Ultimate Rescue and Extreme Expedition, both produced by Lustitia Productions.

The formats catalogue includes Pillow Talk, Perfect Storm and Judgement Call. KOTV said there are options deals for all three series currently being considered in several territories.

KO Distribution is also selling a pair of sports-related dramas. Veer follows an elite-level athlete at the conclusion of their career, and Double Fault is a story of redemption in the world of professional sports, starring Éric Bruneau.

The distributor is also set to reveal new singing competition series Zenith. The series, produced by KOTV for Radio-Canada, aims to find a professional singer who can captivate an audience made up of 100 VIP voters representing four generations: Boomers, Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z. It is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.
