Kinetic taps development boss

Red Arrow-backed US producer Kinetic Content has bolstered its development team by hiring a head of department from LA-based prodco This is Just a Test.

Paul Lima becomes VP of development and will report to Karrie Wolfe and Katie Griffin, Kinetic’s executive VPs of development and programming.

Lima most recently served as VP of development at This is Just a Test, where he developed and sold a host of shows including Big Rig Bounty Hunters (History), Ice Lake Rebels (Animal Planet), Project Grizzly (Animal Planet), Akil Fugitive Hunter (A+E) and Missing Dial (Nat Geo).

Additionally, Kinetic has promoted Scott Patterson to manager of development and Andre Kovalovs to coordinator.

“Paul brings extensive experience and exceptional creativity to our team,” said Wolfe. “Katie and I are thrilled to have him on board as we build on our success and accelerate our development efforts.”

Kinetic Content is the producer behind Married at First Sight, the Little Women franchise, The Spouse House, Seven Year Switch and Buying Blind.
