Kids take control of finances in new C4 branded partnership format Family Budget Switch Up

Mollie King and Peter Komolafe present Family Budget Switch Up

UK public service broadcaster Channel 4 (C4) has partnered with bank HSBC UK for new branded entertainment series Family Budget Switch Up.

The 3×15’ series is made by indie prodco Goat Films, with the partnership deal led by media agency PHD and its branded content, partnerships and entertainment team, Drum.

Presented by former pop star Mollie King alongside financial expert Peter Komolafe, it sees kids take over the financial responsibility of running a household for the first time. Steered by their parents, the children will have to navigate scenarios from opening a bank account and paying monthly bills to dealing with an unpredictable crisis that has financial repercussions.

It will premiere on C4’s YouTube channel today and is scheduled to air on C4 in April.
