Kid-E-Cats herded by Sky

Kid-E-Cats is set to launch on Sky Kids

Satcaster Sky has acquired children’s series Kid-E-Cats for its SVoD service in the UK and Ireland from APC Kids,  children’s entertainment arm of French prodco APC Studios.

Under the deal, Sky Kids has bought the non-exclusive SVoD rights to the first and second seasons of the series. S1 will launch on Sky Kids this month, while season two will premiere in March next year.

Kid-E-Cats, which follows the adventures of three kittens, is based on an original Russian series produced by CTC Media and Studio Metrafilms. The third season is currently in production following its commission by CTC last year.
