Lucky 13, created by Studio 1 co-founder and CEO Adrian Woolfe, is described as a “high-stakes general knowledge rolling quiz format.”

Bacon is slated to host the series in some of the English-speaking markets where the show is being shopped. Studio 1 said it is in discussions with broadcasters in the UK, US, Europe, MENA, Australia and Asia, and plans to announce several primetime partnerships in the near future.

Studio 1 founders Woolfe and Claudia Rosencrantz met more than two decades ago during development of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, which was commissioned by Rosencrantz during her tenure as controller of entertainment at ITV. The pair later went on to launch Studio 1, which has production, distribution and licensing operations.

Bacon currently stars in and produces the Showtime crime drama City on a Hill and the Peacock original film They/Them. His other acting and TV producing credits include Amazon’s I Love Dick and Fox’s The Following.
