Keshet Int’l ventures on to Women’s Balcony

The Women’s Balcony is based on a 2016 film

NEWS BRIEF: Israel-based distributor Keshet International (KI) has picked up Pie Films’ The Women’s Balcony (Ismach Hatani), an eight-part drama that premiered on Israel’s Keshet 12 recently.

Based on the 2016 film of the same name, The Women’s Balcony (8×40’) centres on the close-knit neighbourhood of Jerusalem’s Bukharim Quarter where the warm-hearted community is threatened when a face from the past returns. It stars Tsahi Levi (Line in the Sand, Fauda, The Grave) alongside the original cast, including Orna Banai, Einat Saruf, Itzik Cohen and Herzl Tobey.
